Greek board games

Date: 24th Mar 2016 @ 9:11pm

Over the last few weeks, the children have been working on designing and creating board games, with an ancient Greek theme.  Their brief was to create an interesting game to play, which also helped to inform players about ancient Greece.

They came up with some amazing ideas, and made their games of part of their homework tasks.  They also spent an incredible amount of time making their games, which have all been finished to a very high standard. This afternoon, they have had the opportunity to play their games together, and have been evaluating them against a set of criteria.  Next week, they will play some more, and then vote for the ones which will be awarded a prize.

The children have also had to write instructions for their games, an evaluation of what they did, and a letter to an imaginary toy company to try and persuade them to market their game.  All of these tasks will also be taken into consideration in the selection process.

They all seem like possible winners, so it is going to be a hard task!
