Mr Lightfoot's visit

Date: 21st Oct 2015 @ 7:36pm

Today, Year Six's year governor (and Chair of Governors), Chris Lightfoot, came and joined Class Four for the day. He experienced working with children in Maths, where we were problem solving, which proved to be quite tricky. After that, he learned how we were making a firework poem, using ideas from Ian Bland's visit, thinking about fireworks and how they affect our senses.

It was a very full and busy day, as in the afternoon we continued with our William Morris artwork, which is now nearly ready to put up on display.  Chris was also fascinated to see the photographs of the amazing tiles that they had made while we were in Ironbridge.

The children were really pleased with the interest shown in them, and in the enthusiasm to share their work. They are looking forward to his next visit.

Thank you, Mr Lightfoot!
