Week ending 12.1.18

This week has been science week and we have investigated light. We went outside and played with our shadows -that was a lot of fun. We made some bat shadow puppets which were great when we played with them in the quiet room.

We read The Owl Babies and learnt all about owls and other nocturnal animals. We painted nocturnal animals and also write about the owl babies. In the woods we made different sized nests for the owls and we have measured in Treetops too. As well as nocturnal animals we talked about animals and birds we see in the day. We painted some of the birds we see in our garden.
