Week ending 16.2.18

Date: 16th Feb 2018 @ 1:37pm

This week has been a week of special days! On Tuesday we had pancakes because it was Shrove Tuesday and we talked about why we eat pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. Everyone flipped their own pancakes and they tasted delicious!

Wednesday was Valentine’s Day and we made cards for people who are important to us.

On Thursday and Friday we have learnt about Chinese New Year and have made Chinese dragons and lanterns. For snack on Thursday we had noodles and sweet and sour sauce. We have also had a go with chopsticks and tried to write some Chinese numbers.

In the woods on Thursday afternoon we worked on our fine motor skills and wound wool around sticks. We had fun playing the stick game and pretending what our sticks were.

We hope you have fun with Stickman over half term! Have a lovely break.
