week ending 21/10/16

Date: 21st Oct 2016 @ 1:51pm

We have had a lovely week. We have all played in the new mud kitchen in the garden - it was a lot of fun and everyone used amazing language while they were measuring, pouring, stirring and playing. There will be pictures in the cloakroom - please have a look.

We went to the far end of the field and collected lovely Autumn leaves. Nursery children made leaf kebabs and counted how many leaves they had on their sticks. We have learnt about Autumn and spent a lot of time using pastels to draw leaves and using leaves to print. They are all on the wall in Treetops.

We have had a very messy time making papier mache balloons which we have started making into dinosaurs - very sticky!

We have also learnt about plants and have planted some violas in old wellies in our garden. They look lovely hanging on the fence.
