Week ending 26.1.18

Date: 26th Jan 2018 @ 1:30pm

We have had a great week reading The Gruffalo. We started the week by using puppets to re-tell the story. We also wrote the story - some of the stories are great!

On Tuesday afternoon we made Gruffalo crumble and ate it for snack with owl ice cream! We tried orange eyes, black tongues and purple prickles. To make the crumble we used biscuits and we investigated the best way to break the biscuits into crumbs. We tried with a potato masher, spoon, rolling pin and our fingers. We had a lot of fun and the crumble was delicious.

When we went to the woods we made a huge Gruffalo and ate Gruffalo pancakes which were cooked on the fire. They were delicious too!

We have done lots of maths and counting this week - it’s been very busy!
