week ending 5/2/16

This week we have found out about waterproofing. We looked at Buzz Lightyear and talked about what his space suit could be made from. We experimented with water and different materials to see what happens when they get wet. We also investigated different objects made out of wood, plastic and metal. We are now going to find out about magnets.

Reception have worked hard on rhyme and played lots of silly games. We have really worked hard on our numbers and counting over the last couple of weeks. Reception are gettting really good at addition.

Today we have read 'The Way Back Home' by Oliver Jeffers and are making a lovely display in the cloakroom.
