*from 2012, pupils are classed as FSM if they have been eligible for and claiming FSM at any time in the last 6 years.

We are required to publish online information about how we have used the Pupil Premium.  The funding received from Pupil Premium is allocated in the following ways:

  • Supporting learning through programmes delivered to individual or small groups for those children who need a boost to their learning in order to reach their potential, or who require 'gaps' to be closed in their learning. For example: small group reading, writing or mathematics tuition.
  • Providing specialised resources for individuals and groups of pupils as recommended by specific agencies.
  • Supporting the cost of before/after school care & activities.
  • Supporting the cost of school trips and visits.
  • Assisting with uniform costs or other school materials.
  • Supporting children's learning in the classroom by ensuring that staff/pupil ratios are as high as possible.
  • Ensuring that children have their needs clearly identified and their progress closely monitored through the school.
