A busy day digging and gardening

We have worked really hard today! We put our wellies and overalls on this morning and moved a huge bag of soil into the new planter in our garden. We had to work together to carry the buckets of soils and to spread them around the planter. Everyone worked really hard and it was a lot of fun!

When we had emptied the bag we estimated how many children would fit in it - we all did! It was enormous!

This afternoon we planted a lot of different seeds - sunflowers, beetroot, peas, courgette, tomato and spring onion. We worked together and watered them to make sure they grow. We have also painted some wooden spoons to make labels for our vegetable plot. It looks amazing and we are very proud of ourselves!
