Doctor visits Nursery and Reception

As part of our topic People who Help us, Edith’s mum came to talk to us about being a doctor. She brought her doctor’s bag and showed us what she has inside. We learnt how the equipment works and Kate let us have a go at using the stethoscope, blood pressure monitor and the oxygen monitor that goes on your finger. We also had a look in each other’s ears. Kate explained how important it is to wash our hands and we did an experiment to show how easy it is for us to share our germs.
