Week ending 18th September

What  a busy week! We have worked hard to make our Gruffalo wood reading area. Reception children did some amazing writing about the Gruffalo and all the Nursery children have been involved in our Gruffalo artwork. We have used our Gruffalo puppets to re-tell the story and are having fun playing with them.

We have printed with apples and made letter shapes with them in the garden. Reception have learnt about a in phonics and have all started working with reading books.

We have also read Room on the Broom and have had fun making a lovely display and writing about the story.
