Welcome to Class One!

Monday, Tuesday - Mrs Entwistle,

Wednesday, Thursday- Mrs Kinsey

Friday- Mrs Kinsey  and Mark Phillips (for PE)

We hope you had a good Easter holiday.

This half term our topic will be 'where we live'. We will be discussing our villages, local towns and cities. This will link to our geography topic and we will learn about natural and manmade features such as forests, hills, shops, rivers, schools and churches.

Our visit to Burwardsley will be an excellent introduction and offer children the opportunity to compare and contrast the two villages, discussing their likes and dislikes.

Literacy will compliment these skills and knowledge and our texts will focus on geographical features such as schools, towns and countryside. Stories will include The Day the Crayons Quit, Six Dinner Sid and The Townmouse and the Countrymouse.

Further information on the curriculum for this half term will be on the class newsletter to be forwarded shortly.

We look forward to an interesting and productive half term

Please feel free to speak to any one of us at the end of the day if needed.

Keep an eye on our Class blog its filled with everything we have been up too!

Our timetable is filed below.

Kind regards,

Diana Kinsey and Claire Entwistle
