Book Club Chapter Twenty and Beyond......

Hello my little readers,

I hope that you are still enjoying The Boy at the Back of the Class as much as Gracie and I. We are on chapter 22 now, but I wanted to share chapter 20 with you, as we found out something really exciting.

I have done two videos for you, the first is Chapter Twenty and the second is Book Club part 2. Make sure that you watch them in order and then maybe you could send me a message back via a video, a piece of work a blog or scrap book.

A big thank you to Sammy who recommended the Boy at the Back of the Class to us. He has now finished the book and is writing to the author Onjali Q Rauf- what a brilliant idea!

Happy reading.

Hope to see you soon.

Thank you for the video's we enjoyed reading chapter 20 again. We all had this question whether is was a boy or girl telling the story.....somewhere Isaac, Lucia and I decided that she was a girl we cant remember where but we were not sure.
We researched information on the author and believe that she did not want to reveal the story was from her experiences....also to keep us guessing and wanting to read on.
We are now reading -The Day I Met The Queen. :)

Hi Isaac,
Thank you so much for your comments. It is so interesting to read your thoughts. grace had thought the character was a girl, but I thought they were a boy. When I visualised the group of friends, I thought that Josie was a tom boy character and enjoyed playing with Michael, Tom and the narrator.
I agree that the author did delay revealing the identity of the character to add suspense feel closer to them, allowing us to develop their personality in our imagination.
I hope that you enjoy The Day I Met the Queen.
Keep having fun and posting photographs.
