Acts of Collective Worship
Children lead and deliver assemblies throughout the school year. Year Six children help to plan, organise and lead the major services which are held in St. Peter's Church: Harvest, Christmas, Easter and the Leavers' Service. Children use Bible readings and write their own prayers for the services.
Individual classes plan and organise assemblies linked with RE or with work which they are doing in class.
Each week, Rev. Adam Friend visits the school to lead an Act of Worship in St. Peter's Church. This alternates each week with the lower school and the upper school. Adam also spends time with the children from Treetops, and has a special responsibility for the EYFS.
