Class Four - 23rd October

Date: 23rd Oct 2020 @ 8:42pm

Another busy week which has flown by and half a term has passed.  Class Four have been amazing this term; they have worked so hard and with such enthusiasm.  I have already seen much improvement in their handwriting, especially those who only joined the class in September, and they are taking their spellings and writing very seriously.  I have read some beautiful pieces of writing based on the story of Rose Blanche and on our discussion of Anne Frank - the children were full of questions about the war, viewed from the side of the Germans and the Jews - we extended many lessons with our discussion.

This week we have tried to complete our Egyptian gods artwork (photos to be shared later), finishing our painting on papyrus, and this afternoon we were making persicopes as the final part of our light topic in Science.

Thank you for your support for the children this term (particularly with multiplication and division! Watch out for fractions next term!)  I am sorry to have less oppportunity to chat with you all at the end of the day, but will hopefully catch up on our parents' evening phone calls.
