Class Four - week ending 25th September

Date: 25th Sep 2020 @ 7:00pm

It's been quite a busy week, and most children are beginning to work with more pace and concentration after settling into a new class.

We have been looking at the importance of the River Nile, in both ancient and modern times, made progress with the large scale artwork of Egyptian gods and goddesses, completed some practical science activities with mirrors and how they reflect light, as well as our work in Maths and Literacy.

Sadly, PE yesterday was adversely affected by the weather, but this afternoon we also began to think about how children were going to be painting on papyrus like the ancient Egyptians.  It's been a good week!

Please note that if your child is our of school through any kind of absence, there will be planned work in Literacy, Maths, Science and Topic that they can complete, that we will be doing in school, available through Google Classroom.
