Class Four - week ending 14th May

Date: 14th May 2021 @ 5:53pm

Another week which has flown by, with lots of hard work!

In Science, we have explored and explained how the solar system began; in RE we have looked at the symbols that they use and what they mean; in Art we have completed designs for the clay fish which they will hopefully start to make next week.

Literacy has proved a challenge to some as we have been writing creatively, linked to our book Flotsam, describing an imaginary character and setting.  We have some amazing pieces developing from Evelyn, Rose, Emily, Oisin, Gabriella and Freddie and these will continue to be developed next week, before finalising them.

This afternoon, following some of our work on French sentences about food, we looked at a version of 'The very hungry caterpillar' written in French and worked hard to translate it. Everyone seemed to enjoy that.
