Class Four - week ending 18th February

Today was the last of our swimming sessions - we return to normal PE lessons after the break. the staff at the swimming pool were very impressed with how well the children listened and made efforts to carry out the instructions and coaching.

We have nearly completed our next art project which should make a great display when they are ready. We also finished our book study on 'Holes' by Louis Sachar, which has reallt gripped the children and kept them guessing the whole way through. It brought up many issues to discuss, about race, equality and social judgements.  I was really impressed with their reactions to the story - it was great to share it with them. 

Have a great half-term, everyone and I hope that Year Six comes back ready for some hard work as we start working towards yours SATs in May!
