Hello again everyone!
Date: 7th May 2020 @ 12:30pm
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all well and taking care of each other whilst self-isolating. I continue to be really impressed and inspired through the work you have shared and the conversations I have had with you. Although we are all missing social interaction with our friends and extended family, it has been very interesting to hear about the creative way you are still keeping in touch. From postal letters and pictures, secret treasure hunts and online meetings and chats.
I hope you are still clapping for the NHS and all the other people who are helping to keep us fed, hygienic and healthy. Tomorrow is VE (Victory in Europe Day) when we celebrate the end of World War 2 and remember the sacrifice that so many made for us. There are some uncanny similarities in the ways people, families and communities support each other. The good thing about this problem is that we can do something positive to protect ourselves and in most cases are families are together.
As with these past difficulties we will come through it and I hope that we will be together again soon.
Take care and love to all.
Mr Hudson
