The Three Little Pigs

Date: 27th Apr 2020 @ 7:22am

I’ve hopefully up loaded a video of me starting to tell the story of The Three Little Pigs. I’d like you and your child to carry on re-telling the story. If you want to use some props to help remember the story feel free, encourage your child to use the repetitive language from the story, expression in their voices for the characters and once they’ve practiced a couple of times maybe they could tell the story to other family members. There is some work on the Nursery and Reception pages on the page  called Stories that you could do together if you can - it’s by no means exhaustive but I don’t want to overface anyone! Maybe you could make the story into a book - write some captions for pictures or similar. For Nursery this would involve them doing their own writing and reading it back to you. For Reception this would be a good way of working on phonics - the children need to listen to the sounds in the words and record them. Have fun!
