Treetops week ending 21.4.23

Date: 21st Apr 2023 @ 1:29pm

This week we have been busy making our role play area into a doctors surgery. We have talked about why we go to the doctors and how they make us better. We have learnt about germs and experimented to see how well we wash our hands to get rid of the germs. We also did lots of exercise to make our hearts and lungs work hard - we found out about our skeletons too.

We have also talked about parts of a plant and planted some seeds in a jar so we can see the roots as they grow. We have brought the seeds back that we planted before the Easter holiday and are hardening them off so we can plant them in the garden.

We collected dandelions and found out how important they are for insects and bees. We used them to print with and we made some into dandelion play dough!
