Treetops week ending 9.2.24

This week it has been lovely to have everyone back. We have had a busy time measuring long and short. We have used ramps and race tracks to measure how far cars roll.  

Yesterday we celebrated Chinese New Year with Amelia and her mummy Xu. Xu talked to us about why people wear red and have fire works at New Year. She kindly gave everyone a special red and gold present envelope with some sweets in. We had a go at using chopsticks and tried to write some Chinese numbers as well as making lanterns and painting dragons. We had noodles for snack too.
