Week ending 10th September - Class Four

Date: 10th Sep 2021 @ 9:53pm

The week has flown by and we have got started with our Literacy project, looking at Darwin: an exceptional voyage.  To begin with, there is lots of discussion and vocabulary work. We began our Science topic with a discussion about fossils and how they are formed and made 'sweet fossils' using bread layers and sweets - they ate a few too!

The children researched some Aboriginal art in preparation for creating their own designs and we also got going with our Islands topic, thinking about how islands can be formed.

It's been busy, but our new class members are beginning to understand that they need to work hard and keep pace with the rest - we've had fun too!
