Week ending 25.9.20

Date: 25th Sep 2020 @ 12:33pm

This week we did Forest School on Thursday afternoon. We explored the woods and collected lots of sticks which we used to make shapes. We had to measure the sticks to make them the right size for our shapes. Unfortunately our fire got wet in the rain, but we still had hot chocolate and a biscuit for snack.

We have done lots of number and pattern work this week. We have counted all sorts of different objects and made some repeating patterns.

On Monday we went to the orchard and picked apples, they were quite high and we had to stretch to reach them.

We have also talked about our favourite foods- we did the sound m in phonics and rubbed our tummies! Both Nursery and Reception drew their favourite tea and write what it was.
