Week ending 28.2.20

We started the week talking about our half term holidays and listening to all our adventures.  Lots of us have been to cafes over the holiday and we have turned our role play area into a cafe. We have had a lovely time playing in it. We have written orders, made biscuits and shared with each other.

On Tuesday we made pancakes and learnt about Shrove Tuesday. We flipped the pancakes ourselves and ate them with sugar and lemon- delicious!

Our new topic is dinosaurs. We started talking about dinosaurs yesterday and when we went to the woods we made dinosaur nests and dens. We took a long time building and modifying our dens. They were great - some had look out towers, special places for dinosaur eggs and cosy beds.

We have also worked hard on numbers and more and less. Reception have worked on numbers to 20 and Nursery to 5 or 10.
