Week ending 4.10.19

This week we have had some great snacks - scrambled snakes (spaghetti) and Gruffalo pancakes cooked on the fire in the woods! The pancakes were full of poisonous warts, orange eyes, black tongues, fur, terrible teeth and terrible jaws (dolly mixtures)! Delicious!

We have continued working on The Gruffalo and have written sentences about the story. We have also listed as many things as we can think of that are in the woods. We wrote our word lists on the leaves that we painted last week. Reception used their phonics really well when they were writing.

We have had fun in our Gruffalo cafe and have used the food in there to make patterns. We have worked hard on our counting and numbers. Reception have practiced writing numerals.
