Week ending 5.10.23

Date: 6th Oct 2023 @ 1:16pm

This week we found out about hedgehogs. We talked  about what they eat, where they live and that they hibernate in the Autumn. We did some printing with a fork to make spikes on our hedgehog pictures and we also wound and wound wool round our hedgehogs carefully.
At the start of the week we looked at fossils and talked about dinosaurs. We made our own fossil dinosaur footprints and used a microscope to look really carefully at  the fossils.
We have a police station outside and we have spent time playing and having fun looking for clues.

We picked some tasty apples in the orchard and made delicious apple pies. We used special knives to cut the apples and carefully rolled the pastry and put the apples in. Yummy!
