Week ending 6.11.20

Yesterday was a fun day talking about fireworks and Bonfire Night. We watched and listened to fireworks before collecting words to describe their colours and sounds. We turned ourselves into fireworks too moving our bodies and making the sounds. Reception worked on sparkly handwriting and Nursery worked on sparkly pattern making. Everyone printed firework pictures using straws that were tricky to fold into the correct length. In the afternoon we had Forest School. We made a pretend bonfire and then had our own real fire with marshmallows and hot chocolate. 

During the rest of the week we have worked on more and less in maths and we have started to plan our new role play area. We have worked on writing and phonics too!
