Jubilee Day celebration

Date: 27th May 2022 @ 7:13pm

Thank you so much to all those family members who came along and supported our celebration.  The children had a fantastic day, having made crowns, bunting, learned the dance and how to sing God Save the Queen! All that and burying two time capsules under the Acer tree which they planted as part of the Queen's Plant a Tree for the Jubilee.  They should enjoy watching the tree grow and change its colours through the years.

They have also learned much more about the Queen and the Royal Family during the week through discussions in assemblies and in class.  It was a really special day. We all loved having our family atmosphere for the celebration (although the staff were pretty tired by the end of the day!) Hopefully, it was an occasion that the children will remember in the future - a truly special and unique event in their lifetime.
