Treetops week ending 12.11.21

This week we have read ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance’. We wrote about the story and read our writing back. Reception wrote really well, using their phonics to spell the words. We all drew Gerald and have had fun measuring giraffes with non standard  units. We used our animals and measured their height with multi link.

We went outside and collected lovely autumn leaves. We read ‘Leaf Man’ and made leaf kebabs in the woods. Back in our classroom we used the leaves to make pictures like the ones in our story - they are beautiful.

We have found out about monkeys too this week. We have had fun making monkeys, finding monkey facts and being monkeys outside.
