Week ending 12.10.18

This week we have started a mini topic about dogs. We have read lots of Hairy Maclary stories and have written about our dogs. We also made some big pictures of the characters in the Hairy Maclary books. We have talked about how dogs like to go for long walks and some dogs do agility courses. We made our own obstacle course in the sunshine. It was lots of fun!

We have worked on weight and capacity weighing and measured all sorts of things. We have also carried on with phonics, reading and writing work.

In the woods on Thursday we talked about hedgehogs and other animals that hibernate. We made a nest for a hedgehog and then we made our own woven hedgehogs.
