Week ending 15.10.21

This week we have worked on Handa’s Surprise. We wrote about the story and Reception used their sounds really well. We tasted all of the delicious fruit in the story and talked about which was our favourite.  We also printed with the fruit and made some lovely pictures for art week. They will be on the walls in school next week. 

We have investigated weight and have used the language of size comparing the height and length of different objects.

In the woods we made some nests for our hibernating hedgehogs. We had a campfire and had some tasty hot chocolate.
