Week ending 17.11.3

Date: 17th Nov 2023 @ 1:25pm

We had such a lovely time in the woods this week. We found piles of leaves that just needed to be played with! We threw the leaves in the air and kicked them high. We even managed to make snow angels. It was such a lot of fun! We played a game of 'this is not a stick' and imagined our sticks were all sorts of exciting things. Then we had to measure and find a stick the same size as our wellies. We used our fiddly fingers to wind wool carefully round the sticks. Once we had finished we lit the fire and toasted marshmallows, talking about how they changed as we heated them up. This fitted in with our science work about changing states that we had completed finding out what happened to bread and butter when we make toast. We finished our afternoon with a game of hunt the hedgehog and hide the hedgehog.
