Week ending 18.10.19

Yesterday we had a spider day. In the morning we found out some spider facts and made spider webs in 2 different ways. In the afternoon we hunted for spiders in the woods and in our garden. We found some enormous ones! We made spiders using skinny sticks and clay. 

We have told the Gruffalo story with musical instruments, choosing the instruments for each animal. We also made some shakers to make sounds for each instrument.

We have done lots of counting and number activities. Reception have practiced writing their numbers.
