week ending 24.4.21

Date: 23rd Apr 2021 @ 1:19pm

This week we have enjoyed the sunshine! We have spent time in our garden looking at the new leaves and blossom in the orchard. We collected as many dandelions as we could and then made them into dandelion playdough! We used the playdough to work on our twisting and squeezing skills and also to practice forming letters in our names.

We looked carefully at the catkins in our garden and drew them using chalk pastels. They are on the outside of our classroom where everyone can see them.

In the woods we went bug hunting and made the bug house nice and cosy by adding more sticks and leaves.

We've really worked on our number and phonics too this week.
