Week ending 5.7.24

The highlight of our week was on Monday. We went to Claremont Farm with Class 1 to learn about how strawberries grow. We had a great time and learnt how Farmer Andrew grows strawberries, how to pick them carefully and what they taste like! We ate quite a lot of strawberries 🍓🍓 and had lots of fun looking for and picking the biggest, juiciest strawberries we could find! We also learnt what wheat looks like and what it is used for as well as seeing a barn owl box and having a lovely walk in the fields. We had a tasty picnic before coming back to school in the afternoon.
